Once, steaks were only Americans favorite but now everybody in every corner of the world loves them.  The reason, why steaks are so famous is its taste and simplicity of spices. The best to prepare a steak In on a grill, it will gave that restaurant style sear. There are different varieties of beef cuts from which you can prepare your steak for example, rump, sirloin, ribeye and tenderloin. My personal favourite is rib eye.

To prepare steak make sure that your beef cut is at room temperature and properly dried, no excess water. Than drizzle it with some olive oil, add salt and pepper over the steak. Make sure your steak is properly covered with salt and pepper. Than let, them marinate, till then start preparing grill.

Before you start your grill, clean the grates of grill. Now to start your grill, check whether your gas supply is on or not, if it’s a propane tank, than make sure that it has sufficient amount of propane. Light the fire with the help of lighter with the gas knob on.  Now adjust your grill on the direct heat, set the temperature between 450 to 500 degrees fahrenheit, and close the lid for about a minute or two depending on the material of the grill, so that grill grates can get hot.

Now, place your steak on the grill for about 2 to 3 minutes depending on the size of the steak and the doneness you want. To cook 2-inch piece of a steak medium rare, sear for about two minutes, than with the help of tongs move the steak 45 degree to get a diamond shape sear and cook for about another two minutes. Than open the gas grill lid, flip the steak with the help of thongs, and repeat the procedure. Drizzle olive oil over a rosemary and place it on the seared side of the steak. Close the lid. Cut the garlic in half and lit it sear for about two to three minutes.
